At the heart of their practice is a love for process over outcome—an approach that thrives on exploration, imperfection, and the surprises that arise when control is relinquished, allowing for gestural fluidity in layering and mark-making.

Their paintings evolve organically, often revealing bird-like creatures, towering abstract figures, and emotionally charged interactions that feel both spontaneous and intentional. They navigate the balance between structure and chaos, responding to both positive and negative space, where absence is just as crucial as presence.

This deep connection to process aligns naturally with abstract expressionism, both in figurative and non-figurative forms, as well as with their rich imagination, which continuously reshapes the landscapes and characters that appear in their work.

Beyond the physical act of painting, they approach art as a form of attunement—an opening to the psychic and mystical spheres where artists, consciously or unconsciously, channel something beyond themselves. Through imagination, they explore the unknown, allowing visions, archetypes, and hidden narratives to emerge from the subconscious.

Rather than forcing a subject or outcome, they welcome the challenges and unpredictability of painting—leaning into the struggle, the breakthroughs, and the raw, unfiltered experience. They allow each creative session to unfold differently, keeping their practice as alive and dynamic as the unseen forces that shape it.

Colour plays a vital role in their work, with compositions that often defy conventional rules yet achieve striking harmony. Their instinctual use of color—bold, unexpected, and deeply expressive - draw the viewer deeper into the workings and subtleties not seen at first glance. This fearless approach to color further amplifies the emotional and energetic resonance of their paintings, making each piece a vibrant and immersive experience.
